Request for a Pedestrian Crosswalk on Orton Park Rd. at Slan Ave./Botany Hill Rd
Transportation staff will be moving forward with the installation of the Pedestrian Crosswalk on Orton Park Road at Slan Ave. I would like to thank all the residents who took their time to submit their comments, with a vast majority in support of this installation. Agenda Item 2023.SC4.9
New Street Furniture:
The community of Curran Hall will be having street furniture installed across its areas. This will include:
New litter receptacles at:
-Brimorton Dr and Linville Rd.
- 21 Slan Ave at Scarborough Gold Club Road.
Furniture features are selected based on requests from the public, Business Improvement Areas, community associations, and other stakeholders. Each request is reviewed by staff to ensure it is feasible according to various placement guidelines, such as the Council-approved Vibrant Streets guidelines. Requests can be submitted at any time through 311 or my Constituency Office. More information on street furniture can be found here
